Looking for work in Puerto Rico meant opening ten different portals. One for federal openings, another for the Commonwealth, several for private employers, each with its own form, its own ordering and its own idea of what counts as "near you".
And there was a problem on top of the problem: some of the best openings on the island are federal and arrive in English. Anyone searching in Spanish simply never saw them.
MyPRJobs pulls those sources into one place and translates what arrives in English. One search, once, and they all come back.

The search understands all 78 municipalities, and filtering to yours changes the result completely. Jobs in Yauco returns something different from jobs in Puerto Rico, and the different thing is usually the useful one.

Who it is for
Anyone looking for work in Puerto Rico who would rather not run the same search on ten sites. It works as well for a first job as for a twenty-year career, because there is a no-experience category and there are career federal openings.
When to use another one
If what you want is to work out take-home pay, your Christmas bonus or what some overtime is worth, that is MyPRTools. If you are after a plumber or an electrician for a one-off job — not to hire them full time — that is MiPR Servicios.
What it does not do
Saying it here saves you the trip. None of it is a fault: it is the edge of what this site solves.
- It is not an employment agency. Nobody reviews your résumé or calls to place you.
- It cannot promise an opening is still live. Listings come from sources that refresh on their own schedule, and a post can close before the listing catches up.
- It does not apply for you. The button takes you to the employer or agency site, and their rules and forms apply from there.
- It cannot tell you the pay if the employer did not publish it, and many private listings do not.
Common questions
- Does searching for jobs on MyPRJobs cost anything?
- No. Searching and viewing openings is free and needs no account. An email is only asked for if you want alerts about new openings, and that subscription cancels in one click.
- Where do the listings come from?
- From several public job sources at once, federal ones included, plus openings employers post directly. That is why one search returns openings you would otherwise have to look for separately.
- Can I search by my town?
- Yes, across all 78 municipalities. Each has its own page, and it combines with a category — health jobs in Ponce, for example.
- Do police recruitment openings show up?
- Yes, when they are posted. They fall under the security category and under government, so they turn up searching either one, or searching the town recruiting. What we do not do is recruit: the link takes you to the official process.
- Can I see what an opening pays?
- When the employer published a salary, yes, and it shows on the listing. When they did not, we do not invent one. If what you want is to work out take-home pay from a gross figure, MyPRTools does that sum.
- Is it any use if I have never worked?
- Yes. There is a no-experience category which is exactly that: openings that ask for no prior years. It is one of the most useful on the list and one of the least found, because most portals have no such filter.
